ABOUT The Founders
Realizing the need for Graffiti artists to express themselves and the lack of legal viable means to do so birthed the evolution of TATOOT. Co-Founders Eddie Shabot and David Ben David teamed up to create a product that would enable these artists to express themselves and provide a fashionable vehicle to get their work seen by the masses. Now, TATOOTTATOOT bags is launching in summer of 2008.

Eddie Shabot, hails from Brooklyn, New York. Known for its eclectic artistic culture and diversity, Eddie’s Brooklyn origin had a strong influence on his artistic cultivation. Through his keen insight, passion, and knowledge of business and art, Eddie began managing various independent artists. Experiencing success in securing placement for his artists’ work, was a mere stepping stone for Eddie’s future artistic and business endeavors. Eddie Shabot also has background and passion in music and Hip Hop. Eddie formerly was the owner of Record Explosion, a chain of stores throughout New York City and one of the hottest hangout spots for music lovers. After the rise of the Mp3 evolution, Eddie closed down his stores but his love for music, Hip Hop and art still remain.

David Ben David is a Street Graphic and Fashion Designer. David Ben David was born in New York, also known as the cultural melting pot. David graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a Bachelors Degree and is equipped with the knowledge of graphic, product, and fashion design. With a passion for the culture of art and fashion, David is well traveled and captures the many influences of several cultures – which serves as inspiration. As an avid surfer and skater, David has even designed his own surfboards. He has also designed shorts for the fighters of the UFC. Recently, he collaborated with premier sneaker boutique Foot Soldiers & K-Swiss and currently David Ben David also has his own clothing line – Nvsble. has a line of messenger bags and backpacks to suit a variety of styles!
