Graffiti Dance Theater Opens This Weekend
GRAFFITI LIVE OPENS TONIGHT
“Graffiti Life,” a theatrical dance show written by Pose 2 and performed by Culture Shock Dance Company, will premiere tonight. It will be performed every day until May 31 at the Lyceum Theatre at Horton Plaza. On May 28 and 29, showtime will be at 7 p.m.; May 30 times will be at 2 and 7 p.m.; and on May 31 it will be at 5 p.m. The show will run alongside “Pose 2 is Mr. Maxx Moses,” an exhibit of Pose 2’s graffiti work on display in the Lyceum’s Upstairs Lobby gallery until June 6.

The Prizm Process will have a community engagement art booth at the 6th annual Art Around Adams Festival on June 6th 2009 in Normal Heights, San Diego. One of the latest artworks sponsored by Albus Cavus is Yulia Pinkusevich’s large scale charcoal drawing in Santa Fe, NM. The drawing is 10-30 feet above the ground and she did not use any ladders or scaffolding. She went through intense training to be able to use climbing equipment to move around the space.
