MOUNT VERNON – A 17-year-old city boy who was arrested Sunday night in a sting operation involving prostitution is now accused of writing graffiti as well, police said.

Mount Vernon police said D of   N. Fifth Ave. spray-painted graffiti on three buildings and a truck in the city.

D spray-painted his “tag” name – “Nose” – on buildings along with the initials RBK for “Real Bronx Kids,” police Commissioner David Chong said.

Police said Sunday night when he was arrested in the prostitution case, D tried to throw away a backpack that contained spray paint and books about graffiti.

After an investigation by city police Intelligence and Gang units, D was accused of spray-painting on 60 and 64E Sandford Blvd. and 261 W. Lincoln Ave. A truck parked on Lincoln Avenue also was spray-painted.

He is charged with second-degree criminal mischief, a felony, and patronizing a prostitute, a misdemeanor.
