Streetfiles is taking a day off

Maybe you have already heard of our international streetart-and-graffiti picture-database Streetfiles (http://streetfiles.org) from Berlin, Kreuzberg? The project is online for about one year. Its popularity has been growing permanently.

However, there is one thing that deeply concerns us. In order to pay for the hosting, we have urgently been looking for a sponsoring. There are already some minor contacts but unfortunately they don’t really help us to solve our problem.

In order to attract peoples’ attention on our dilemma we are taking a short break: tomorrow (for 24 hours). Visitors will only be given the possibility to send messages to us (and our potential sponsoring partner) concerning the topic “Imagine a world without Streetfiles”.

We would be very thankful if you helped us by broadcasting about the situation and by signing – as our prominent supporters.

Apart from this email the action is not going to be announced. Afterwards we are publishing the comments and emails in a blog.
