[TODAY] The King of Graffiti at the Museum of the City of New York

Upcoming discussion and book signing, “BLADE: King of Graffiti” on Friday, August 8 at 6:30 p.m., which are in conjunction with the current exhibition, City as Canvas: Graffiti Art from the Martin Wong Collection, (on view at the Museum through September 21).
BLADE is a world-renowned graffiti writer, known as the “King of Graffiti” after painting 5,000 subway trains in the 1970s and ‘80s. At this program, BLADE will sit down with graffiti historian Chris Pape for a conversation about his pioneering work and the New York graffiti scene of the 1970s. Also, BLADE and Pape will sign copies of their new book, Blade: King of Graffiti. For more information, please see our attached flyer.
