Prolific graffiti vandal CETE will pay $18,000 and spend five years on probation after pleading guilty to criminal mischief in connection with a series of decorations he made in subway stations, yards and cars in the Bronx from January 2013 through March of 2014.
The 32-year-old tagger, who already spent 30 days in the clink for his actions, was nabbed in May thanks to his own self-promotional videos, which he gleefully posted on YouTube.
CETE’s greatest hits included spray-painting elaborate designs along seven train cars on the No. 6 line in Hunts Point in one night, according to Bronx district attorney Robert Johnson.
Police scoured social media and used video from train stations to catch the prodigious tagger can-handed, the DA’s office said
