Stash – U.S. Soccer

For the USA v. Mexico soccer game in San Antonio on April 15, graffiti artist Stash was at the U.S. Soccer Fan Headquarters creating two live wall-sized paintings. These paintings were on display at the Alamodome during the match.

U.S. Soccer and Kicks to the Pitch, the online magazine and live event production company, are teaming up to help curate U.S. Soccer’s Fan Headquarters in San Antonio, Texas, on April 14-15, prior to the U.S. Men’s National Team match against Mexico on April 15 at the Alamodome. U.S. Soccer’s Fan HQ is the official pregame party for fans attending USA-Mexico, presented by AT&T.

Kicks to the Pitch’s mission is to fuse soccer with the urban culture of sneakers, fashion, art and music. U.S. Soccer has been working with Kicks to the Pitch to bring these elements of the culture to Fan HQ in San Antonio with an unprecedented collection of exhibits.

Legendary graffiti pioneer Stash will be at Fan HQ creating two live wall-sized paintings. These paintings will be on display at the Alamodome during the match.

Stash has also created a custom letter and number set that is available for customization on the new U.S. Soccer away jersey. This custom limited-edition kit is only available for purchase at the ussoccer.com or in-person at Fan HQ. In addition, Stash has created a match day poster commemorating this unique and groundbreaking event.

Transhoeformers will also have artwork on display in San Antonio. Transhoeformers creates intricate models using old sneakers and other recycled materials. Old boots and balls from the back of the U.S. Soccer equipment room will be given new life and transformed into innovative works of art.

The world famous sneaker collective giant, Sneaker Summit and San Antonio-based SNKSUP will exhibit a display of Texas and soccer inspired sneakers at the event. They will be on hand to discuss and show how sneaker culture intersects with soccer in America.
